Cognacio Brychan
Thirteenth-century Latin genealogical text.
The Cognacio Brychan is a variant version of the closely related De Situ Brecheniauc, which survives in a single mid-sixteenth century copy, written by John Prise of Brecon. The structure of the text is closely similar the De Situ Brecheniauc, which dates to around 1200, although much of the phrasing and many details are distinct.
