Mid-neneteenth century church on a medieval site, dedicated to Gasty.

Alternative spellings of the patron are given as Gastayn by Wade-Evans and Castey by Browne Willis.

This appears to be where the child Cynog was baptised by Gastayn, according to the Cognacio Brychan.

The church was rebuilt with an early Tractarian interior and retains much of the medieval tower.
