One of three chapels on the island (Ynys Dewi in Welsh) noted by A.W. Wade-Evans, the others dedicated to Justinian and Tyfanog. Earlier sources record only two chapels, dedicated to different pairs of the three saints, and ruins of only one are found on the east coast of the island.
