Medieval church whose dedication to Clydog arose, according to his Life, when the oxen bringing his body could move no further, and the body was buried on that spot. The text relates that an oratory was built there and a well sprung up in his honour. Browne Willis gives the form Cledocus and correctly notes the feast day of 3 Novemeber.
