Lost chapel dedicated to Cwrda or Cawrdaf, listed by A.W. Wade Evans, but not in the lists of churches published by Browne Willis in the eighteenth century.

The place-name Llangwrda was first recorded in 1736, and Bron-llan-gwrda was recorded at this location on the second edition OS map. The site of the church is unknown, although Baring-Gould and Fisher state that remains of it survived in the early twentieth century. The present church at nearby Capel Bangor, built in 1837⁠–9, is dedicated to David.
