Ffynnon Gybi or Ffynnon-Wen remains in use and was formerly roofed.

Traditions recounting the healing properties of the well were recorded by Edward Lhuyd. These were linked to Llech Gybi, a large stone supported by uprights (presumably a prehistoric site) in the vicinity.
