Church of St Doged

Llanddoged, Denbighshire

Diocese: Llanelwy/St Asaph

OS Grid Ref.: SH80596370
Lat/Lng: 53.1569991119,-3.78727587289

Late medieval double-naved church. The dedication of the church to Doged is attested in the taxation of 1291–2.

Browne Willis gives the dedication as Dogfan in the eighteenth century, but since the village has been known as Llanddoged since at least the seventeenth century, this looks like a mistake.
