Both Browne Willis and A.W. Wade-Evans agree on the dedication of the church. Browne Willis notes that the feast day occurs on 8 October, which aligns the cult of Cynog at the church with the same Cynog in Breconshire, whose feast day also falls on or close to this date according to various sources.More information
