Church of St Peter

Llanbedrgoch, Anglesey

Diocese: Bangor/Bangor

OS Grid Ref.: SH50947985
Lat/Lng: 53.2945809394,-4.23792492252

Medieval church dedicated to Peter, and confirmed by the present place-name, although an earlier place-name (Llanfeistr or Llanfaestir) is attested from the late fifteenth century. However, only one of these early forms might suggest the name of another saint (Meistr, as maestir means 'open land').
