Church dedicated to Cawrdaf, or Cwrda.

Browne Willis gives the dedication as Cwrda, while Wade-Evans gives the dedication to both Cawrdaf and Cadfarch. A reference to the church as Abererch. 11. gowrda is dated to around 1566.

A nearby holy well and a stone known as Cadair Gawrdaf suggest his importance to the area, and it is at Abererch that Hywel Rheinallt locates the saint and his shrine in his fifteenth-century poem.
