St Dogmaels is a small village and the site of a Tironensian Abbey.

Tydecho was associated with Llandudoch in the fifteenth-century poem by Dafydd Llwyd of Mathafarn, although the connection may have arisen as a result of the similarity of the names Tydecho and Llandudoch.
