Diocese: Llanelwy/St Asaph

OS Grid Ref.: SH98551189
Lat/Lng: 52.6951545283,-3.5025754178

Church dedicated to Tydecho. An early source for the dedication is found in the Papal Registers in 1400, where the church is referred to as the 'parish church of St. Thedechus, abbot, in Garthbribio'. A holy well was situated near to the parish church.

According to Dafydd Llwyd of Mathafarn's fifteenth-century poem for Tydecho, Garthbeibio was given to Tydecho by Cynon as recompense after Tegfedd, Tydecho's sister, was abducted.
