Cadfan's church at Tywyn is described by Llywelyn Fardd in his mid-twelfth century poem, and the poem also mentions altars to Mary and to Peter at the church. Eighteenth-century sources give the dedication as All Saints. A further chapel and holy well, also dedicated to Cadfan, stood nearby.
