Dingad

Church dedicated to Dingad, supported by the form of the place-name in English (Dingestow) and Welsh (Llanddingad), although eighteenth-century sources give Mary as the patron. The earliest form of the place-name, [it:merthirdincat] (1129), indicates that a shrine to Dingad was located here.
